Martial Arts

Since childhood, Daniel has had a passion for the Martial Arts. After graduating from Desert Mountain High School in 2000, he found himself drawn to the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate. He was what his Sensei called a "dojo rat," spending all of his free time training and helping out at the studio.  He continued to train in many different martial arts including Karate, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Aikido, Japanese Sword, Jujutsu and Krav Maga. After achieving the rank of black belt in Shaolin Kempo, Daniel opened his own studio in Scottsdale.  For five years he owned and operated Valley Martial Arts Academy, teaching and mentoring both adults and children in the arts of Karate, Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Qi Gong.  He continues to teach a handful of dedicated students in his spare time.

Schooling
Daniel's passion for Martial Arts, Shaolin culture and Eastern Philosophy led him to take an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and, in the summer of 2007, he graduated with a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Tiger Waking School of Asian Medicine. There, his compassionate nature and strong work ethic continued to cultivate along with his interest in martial arts, physical fitness, philosophy, health and wellness, medicine and science.

Family
Daniel lives in Scottsdale with his wife Kerry and their seven year old son Jacob.  Kerry and Daniel are married for 8 years, having been together for the last 15 years. His strong work ethic is fueled by his love for his family. Daniel says:

“My family is so important to me.  I always want to be a positive role model for my son and a help and support to my wife.  I love them so much. They make me want to always be the best version of myself.”

Community Outreach
Helping others has always been an important aspect of Daniel’s life.  For the last 13 years he and his family have held yearly fundraisers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, raising over $35,000 for cancer research.  He has also worked outreach events, distributing clothing and items for the homeless population in Phoenix as well as donating non-perishable food items to Mom's Pantry for Arizona families in need. He has conducted regular Community Self Defense classes, offering lifesaving skills to the community free of charge. During holiday time, Daniel and his family work with Shoebox Ministries, assembling hundreds of boxes of essential hygiene items for those experiencing homelessness in the Phoenix area.

Daniel brings his dedication for helping others into the buying and selling of homes. As a mentor and educator for two decades, his goal is to share knowledge with his clients, making sure they understand every step of the process. His work ethic and high ethical standards means he will always he will always do his very best for his clients. Daniel believes that the pillars of character are honesty, integrity and diligence.
